Chardham Yatra 2012

Delhi – Rishikesh:(230 Kms) (7-8 Hrs)

Arrive at Delhi and transfer to Rishikesh by road, lunch en-route. Free in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Rishikesh – Barkot: (230 Kms) (7-8 Hrs)

After breakfast visit Laxman jhoola and other nearby sight seeing places on own. Early lunch and drive 230 kms to reach Barkot via Mussoorie. Visit “Kempty Falls” Mussoorie on the way.

Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot : (40 Kms +10 kms)(5 kms trek)

After an early breakfast drive up to Janki chatti, then trek for 5 kms. To reach Yamunotri, perform pooja, take holy dip at Yamunotri and take the same route to return to Barkot, overnight stay at the hotel.

Barkot – Uttarkashi: (100 kms). (5-6 hrs)

After breakfast drive 100 kms. To reach Uttarkashi. Evening is free to explore local area overnight stay at the hotel.

Uttarkashi–Gangotri–Uttarkashi: (100 kms one way - 4 hrs )

After breakfast leave for Gangotri via Gangnani and Harsil. On arrival at Gangotri take a holy dip in the sacred river The Ganges, Drive back to Uttarkashi. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Uttarkashi – Guptkashi: (235 kms) (9 – 10 hrs)

After early breakfast leave for Guptkashi, en-route lunch. Travel along the beautiful river Mandakini to reach Guptkashi, late in the evening. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Guptkashi–Gaurikund – Kedarnath: (37 kms) (2 hrs) 14 kms trek.

After breakfast and leave for Gaurikund (37 kms drive one way). On arrival start your journey on the trek of 14 Kms. Packed lunch will be served en-route and reach Kedarnath by late afternoon. After freshening up perform pooja and Darshan at Shri Kedarnath ji temple.

Kedarnath – Gaurikund – Pipalkoti: 14 kms trek (164 kms).

After morning darshan trek 14 kms and drive 164 kms to reach Pipalkoti. Pipalkoti is a busy town cradled in the lap of lush green mountains and terraced fields. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Pipalkoti – Badrinath: (85 kms 3 – 4 hrs).

After breakfast leave for Badrinath. Enjoy the beautiful drive through the thick medicinal forest, Reach Badrinath by afternoon. Evening free. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Badrinath – Shrinagar: (185 kms) (6 - 7 hrs).

After morning Arti and pooja, visit Mana the last Indian village before the Tibetan border and then drive 145 kms to reach Rudraprayag for overnight stay in hotel.

Shrinagar – Haridwar: (130 kms) (5 - 6 hrs).

After breakfast leave for Haridwar, if time permits visit Devprayag (The confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi), reach Haridwar. In the evening; attend Ganga Arti at Har ki Pauri and overnight stay at the hotel.

Haridwar – Delhi: (205 kms) (7 – 8 Hrs).

After breakfast leave for Delhi. Take lunch en-route. Tour ends on arrival at Delhi with the happy memories of the Chardham to cherish. !!!!!!!!

BOOKING:

·        Advance deposit = Rs. 5000 per person at the time of booking.

·        Final payment to be made 30 days prior to the departure date.

Cancellation of Booking:

1- 30 Days prior to departure date = Full refund after deducting service tax.

2- Between 25 to 30 Days = Refund after deducting Rs. 2000 per person & Service Tax.

3- Between 15 to 25 Days = Refund after deducting Rs. 3000 per person & Service Tax.

4- Less 15 Days prior to departure date = No Refund

·         In case of odd number groups, the extra person shall be accommodated in the same room with an extra bed / mattress.

·         Tour cost does not include coolie / porter charges, Doli, Laundry, Telephone, Guide Charges, tips, entry fees if any, donations at temples, extended stay or travelling due to any reason.

·         All extras (F&B and any other services) availed by the customer will be on direct payment basis.

·         The customer has to bear the proportionate tour cost of extended stay or travelling due to extraneous circumstances.

·        All the payments made by Cheque or Demand Draft should be in favour of ‘"Shree Vishal Travels"

·         The above rates are applicable to the Indian Nationals only .

·         General Terms and conditions as per company policy, are binding to every customer.

·         The company reserves the right to cancel at any time any/all the tours without assigning any reason. In such cases the company’s responsibility shall be restricted to either refund without any compensation what so ever or keep the money for the next available tour if the customer desires.

·         Cancellation request must be made in writing.
